Gatun Lake Lodge

Enjoy the pool overlooking the gatun lake, where you are surrounded by nature on all sides.

You can see different species of flora and fauna. There are a variety of birds that fly around the area, as well as the different crops that we have around the hotel, such as papaya, yucca, chili, pineapples and much more.

Hiking Activities

One minute from the cabins, there is an entrance to start a short hike. It takes less than 10 minutes where you can observe nature. This hike takes you to some wells.

Gatun Lake

Gatun Lake is full of various types of fish as well as snook, sheepshead and tarpon. The fishing tour is 3 hours starting at 8 am where you will be sailing on the lake which is part of the Panama Canal. The tour includes captain, basic fishing equipment and bait. we do catch and release.

Enjoy the adventure

The monkey island tour is about an hour and a half to two hours where we will navigate on Lake Gatun, which is the most important lake in Panama because it is an artificial lake where the ships of the Panama Canal pass.

On the tour we will observe different species of animals, specifically monkeys such as the titi monkey, white-faced monkey (capuchin monkey), howler monkeys (howler monkeys).

The night safari tour is the best way to observe different animals during the night in their natural habitat. Some of the most common animals you will see are crocodiles.
